The Facts
If you are a riparian property owner on Indian Lake you are paying the assessment levied on properties within the Special Assessment District (S.A.D.). These assessments provide funds for all lake improvement projects and efforts. However, paying the S.A.D. assessment does not entitle you to membership in the Indian Lake Improvement Association. Therefore, you are only able to participate and vote on S.A.D. related issues at ILIA meetings.
Welcome Letter
We hope this letter finds you and your family healthy and looking forward to a great Summer on Indian Lake. This year we urgently need your help and financial support.
Why join?
- ILIA membership allows Indian Lake riparian property owners the opportunity to participate and support all ILIA activities. These activities include seeking positions on the board and voting in elections and all programs relating to lake management efforts.
- The Indian Lake Improvement Association is the only organization involved and responsible for implementing the task of improving the health and well-being of Indian Lake.
We are encouraging all riparian property owners to become active by joining the ILIA and paying membership dues of $50 per year. These dues go directly to supporting ILIA projects and activities, which are not included in the S.A.D. programs. Additional donations may be made to support the Fish Fund and other special programs. If you are already a member and know someone who is not, please encourage them to join.
If you prefer to pay by mail, please view and print the ILIA Membership Form.
